
A Denver college student gets arrested after attempting to throw a glitter bomb at Mitt Romney as he greeted campaign supports. Details after the jump.
The 20-year-old University of Colorado student, Peter Smith was charged with causing a disturbance, throwing a missile and unlawful acts.
Security immediately pulled Romney away from the crowd as the act occurred Tuesday night.
While Smith told Denver television that he does not regret his actions, he does worry that he may get expelled for his actions.
“Glitter bombing” has been used by activists to protest a politician’s opposition to gay marriage.
