Over the weekend Rishad Wimbley ran for 115 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns to help SMU Mustangs defeat Rice 27-24 in the regular-season finale game for both teams. University of Houston’s Case Keenum Throws Nine Touchdown Passes
With his nine touchdown passes Thursday night, University of Houston’s quarterback Case Keenum passed Graham Harrell for the most career touchdown passes in FBS history. Keenum threw for 534 yards en route to a 73-34 victory over Rice.

Rice University will welcome 1,006 freshmen students, its newest parliament of Owls Sunday as they move to campus and participate in 2011 O-Week.
